LAN
Support I
- supports, monitors, tests, and troubleshoots hardware and software
problems pertaining to LAN. Recommends and schedules repairs. Provides
end users support for all LAN-based applications. May require associate’s
degree in a related field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly
used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the
functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Little creativity
is required. Typically reports to a project leader or manager.
LAN Support II
- LAN Support I + installs and configures workstations. 2-4 yrs experience.
Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain
degree of creativity and latitude is required.
LAN Support III
- LAN Support II + at least 4 years of experience. Familiar with a
variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies
on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs
a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. |
